Beyond the Bubble presents: Spruce St. Harbor Park Fall Festival this Friday from 7PM-9PM. Meet at the Compass at 7PM for a ride down.

This Friday night, September 22nd, Spruce Street Harbor Park will be full of fun events and games like live music, apple cider pressing, a small petting zoo, pumpkin carvings, human-sized chess, and other really cool activities.

See below for a list of activities, and new fall foods...

FRIDAY, September 22nd
5-7PM: Claymation with The Clay Studio
7-8PM: Star Castillo
8:30-9:30PM: Man About a Horse

Food vendors will also be adding seasonal items to their menus, including:

Pumpkin caramel zeppolis, Double kielbasa burgers, and Carnitas Calavasa from Garces Group

Pumpkin funnel cakes, Pumpkin and sea salt caramel pretzels, Apple and Smores pies, and apple churros from Ice Delights

Directions:

Meet at the Compass at 7PM on Locust Walk for a ride down to Harbor Park. Please bring some cash to buy food and refreshments.

Join us tonight for the really cool lantern festival at Benjamin Franklin parkway. We'll meet at the Compass at 7PM. Free pizza will be there too.

This upcoming Friday, Sept. 8, at 7:15PM Penn Students for Christ will be going to the popular Franklin Fountain for ice cream and banana split sundaes. 

This is a fun opportunity to not only hang out with new and familiar friends, but also to take a break from campus and see all the cool places in Philadelphia outside Penn. 

Directions:
Meet at "The Compass" on Penn's campus at 7:15PM, which is on Locust Walk and 37th. From there we will be driving over groups to Franklin Fountain. 

Otherwise, feel free to take the Market-frankford line Eastward and get off at 2nd Street Station. Franklin Fountain will be two blocks eastward from there. 

Franklin Fountain is cash only, so make sure to bring cash. There is also an ATM next door.

Bible study on Mark begins this week!

Men's Bible study every Monday, starting tonight Sept 4th, at 8pm in the Commons basement.

Women's Bible study every Wednesday, starting Sept. 6, at 8pm in Gregory house. Meet in entrance.

This week we'll be going to Chinatown! Can't go to Chinatown without getting Dim Sum and bubble tea. We're pumped and hope you guys can make it. 

Directions:

If you want a ride, meet at the Compass this Friday from 7pm-7:15pm and then we'll drive over to Dim Sum Garden in Chinatown, which is on 1020 Race St. 

You can also take the SEPTA market-Frankford line for $2.25 or you can uber/Lyft, which might be a bit more expensive unless you carpool. 

Please also bring $5 if you can contribute! We'll be covering the rest.

First week of classes are nearly done and Penn Students for Christ wants to invite you for cheesesteaks by the compass this Friday at noon.

We'll have classic Philadelphia cheesesteaks waiting for you. We hope you can make it! It'll be a great opportunity to meet other students, all of whom are doing really cool things.

We'll be eating right in front of Stiteler Hall next to the compass on locust walk. Hopefully it doesn't rain, but if it does, we'll be changing the location to Houston Hall.

We'll be walking over to this Penn favorite from College Green at 5:30 which is near 40th and Locust Walk (exact address above).

You'll find us on College Green directly in front of College Hall and next to the Benjamin Franklin statue. Meet friends new and old. All are welcome!
